With over 25 years of experience, Dr. Agüero is a seasoned and experienced General Practitioner with focus in Preventive Primary Care.

He completed his medical training at UNAN of Nicaragua. Came to the US to train as Physician-Scientist and worked as a Postdoctoral Visiting Fellow in Cancer Research at the NIH, Georgetown University and Johns Hopkins University, with peer reviewed publications.

In addition to his Medical Degree, Dr. Agüero has a Masters in Biotechnology from Georgetown University. Before relocating to Florida, resided in Puerto Rico where he worked as ER Physician for two major hospitals in the island.

In 2020, came to Florida, working initially for a Medical Group and in 2022 started his solo independent practice in Port Charlotte, Florida.

Dr. Aguero is fully Bilingual (English/Spanish) and his office is currently accepting new patients.
